“To continue to facilitate the fast-paced growth and success of Mort & Co, we are currently looking for an MC truck driver with experience in carting livestock or commodities to join our modern and  expanding fleet in our Mort & Co Transport division. In this role you will be responsible for moving cattle across multiple sites in the Mort and Co brand which serve as an integral part of the vertical supply food chain we have built and maintained across 25 years in the Agricultural sector Come grow with us, Be a part of our story!

Mort & Co Transport has been providing specialist haulage services from Pittsworth, Queensland, since 2007. Mort & Co Transport specialises in livestock, tanker, tipper and walking floors transport with a modern top of the line fleet. With a strong focus on our people, safety and values, we aim to be a leading employer in the industry with a progressive approach to the Trucksafe Scheme, which is a nationally recognised organisation.

Functions of the role include:

Operation of trucks across specific routes in our network.
Loading and unloading cattle or commodities from trucks.
Adhering to safe work conditions and driving within allotted hours to ensure that fatigue is managed correctly.
Availability to work any five in seven days, while working within logbook guidelines.

Drivers can earn up to $140,000 annually + superannuation.

The successful applicant must have:

Current MC licence
At least 1 years’ experience in livestock or commodities transport.
The successful applicant will have, or be willing to obtain:

BFM (Basic Fatigue Management).
Current medical.
Traffic history.
Q Fever vaccination.”
